With a career spanning since 2006, I am a Specialist Paediatric Dentist with a broad international background.

My academic foundation includes a BDS from Cairo University and a Fellowship in Dental Surgery with special subjects in Paediatric Dentistry and Oral Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I further honed my expertise through a Master's Degree and specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry in Leeds, UK, culminating in a Membership in Paediatric Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.​

My professional journey has taken me to various countries, allowing me to gain unique insights into different dental practices. I've served as a general dentist in Egypt, a Maxillo-facial Trauma Registrar and later a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry in Kuwait, and a Specialist Post-graduate Registrar during my UK training.

Beyond clinical practice, I've contributed to academia by teaching Paediatric Dentistry to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Otago, all while pursuing my PhD research on stem cells from baby teeth at the Sir John Walsh Research Institute in Dunedin.
